You need to pay extra attention to lubricated oil of air compressor
We are about to enter winter, and we need to pay special attention to the lubricating oil temperature of the air compressor:
1. Low oil temperature (especially common in winter):
If the oil temperature is too low or remains unchanged for a long time, it will become viscous and easily increase the friction of the transmission parts. Sometimes, due to the increased friction, it will make a screaming sound, causing insufficient lubrication of the equipment and posing a hazard to the equipment. Low oil temperature mainly occurs in winter, and the following methods can be taken to increase the oil temperature:
(1) Strengthen the sealing and heating insulation of the factory building, while controlling the flow rate of circulating water to one-third of its original level, to reduce the cooling effect of the oil cooler and increase the oil temperature.
(2) Keep 1-2 air compressors (compressors) running continuously, and naturally increase the oil temperature through mechanical friction.
2. Excessive oil temperature (especially common in summer):
Long term high oil temperature leads to poor oil quality, and the lubricating oil of the air compressor cannot achieve the expected lubrication effect. The following methods can be used to reduce oil temperature:
(1) In summer, the temperature is relatively high, and the oil temperature remains above 50 ℃ for a long time, sometimes exceeding the standard limit of 60 ℃. The control method is to open the skylights, doors and windows of the factory for ventilation; Cooling water flushes the factory floor to cool down.
(2) The water temperature of the circulating cooling water in summer remains high, which leads to poor performance of the cooler and an increase in oil temperature. Therefore, cooling measures should be taken promptly to lower the circulating water temperature.
(3) If the color of the oil in the oil window becomes thinner and whiter, the oil quality should be checked. If the viscosity of the oil decreases, it should be replaced with new lubricating oil in a timely manner, usually after running for 3000-4000 hours.
(4) To keep the oil cooler unobstructed, the performance of the cooler should be checked regularly. Usually, blockage of the oil cooler is also one of the reasons for the increase in oil temperature. Therefore, when blockage of the oil cooler is found, it should be cleaned in a timely manner to ensure the cooling effect of the oil cooler and the normal operation of the equipment.
(5) When choosing lubricating oil, original lubricating oil should be selected as much as possible to ensure oil quality and reduce carbon deposition.
(6) When the oil temperature is above 50 ℃ for a long time and the circulating cooling water cannot lower the oil temperature, a certain proportion of fresh tap water should be introduced into the circulating cooling water to reduce the temperature of the cooling water or oil.
